The Family Resource and Training Center is the physical center that supports Idaho children & families through partnering work between the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare (IDHW) Division of Family, Community Services (FACS). Starting in 1993, The Family Resource and Training Center supports positive outcomes for children and their families in the State of Idaho through:

- Maximize resource development
To accomplish this mission, EWU and IDHW participate in collaborative efforts to meet training, education, support, and resource objectives. The FRTC oversees the programs:

With a strong focus on recruiting new foster families and retaining current ones, this partnership exists to ensure every child has a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed home.

Idaho North Hub had its annual Foster Care Conference this month and it was amazing! East Hub and West Hub are coming up in April!
We do this to bring together the current foster/adoptive families and Idaho DHW to provide love, support, and continuing education.
