GRANT DOLLARS AT WORK: Students in Mrs. Irving's reading class at Hayden Meadows Elementary read the books The Wild Robot and A Rover's Story and afterwards were tasked with designing mazes and obstacles for their Ozobots (programmable mini spherical robots). These simulated the journeys of the rovers in A Rover's Story or Roz in The Wild Robot. Students coded paths that represented challenges with terrain, hazards, and paths that mirrored the characters' survival.
