This Memorial Day, we honor those who served and remember those we’ve lost.

In downtown Cleveland, the Fountain of Eternal Life stands as both memorial and message—its central figure rising from the flames of war toward peace, surrounded by the names of thousands of Greater Clevelanders who gave their lives.

Public art like this reminds us that art is not separate from our lives, but shapes how we remember and how we experience the world around us.
