We will have our final meeting of the season tomorrow night at Westlake Porter Public Library at 7:00pm.
Our featured speaker is John Brochue, for more than thirty years, John has pursued his passion for fly fishing, a journey that began on the rivers of Northern Michigan and continues to shape his life today. From the Great Lakes to Bristol Bay, he has embraced every opportunity to be on the water, chasing a wide range of species and deepening his connection to the sport.
In his recent roles as Orvis Westlake Store Manager, Orvis Schools Instructor, and Brand Ambassador, John found the perfect outlet for his enthusiasm, sharing his knowledge, mentoring others, and inspiring a love of fly fishing in anglers of all levels.
Today, you’ll find him swinging flies along the Lake Erie tributaries for steelhead, leading educational fly fishing programs, or enjoying time with his family.
He will be presenting on “Fishing Opportunities in Northern Ohio,” covering steelhead and stock trout opportunities. He will also discuss the transition to spring warm water.
