Did you know there's a program that helps you manage your utility bills before a crisis situation?🌡️

Step Forward's Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) helped 14,098 eligible households maintain their gas and electric services by paying a percentage of their household income in 2025. Instead of facing unpredictable and unaffordable utility bills, recipients receive affordable fixed payments throughout the year.

Laurie was introduced to Head Start and Early Head Start in college and, upon graduation, started teaching Cleveland's youngest learners. For the past 35 years, she's helped 0–5-year-olds prepare for kindergarten, ignite a love for learning, and build confidence. She’s served as the site administrator for Scholar House ELC since we opened the doors in 2024!

Meet our George Forbes Early Learning Center Site Administrator, Margo Wong-Strowder!

Margo has been with Step Forward for 19 years. She starts each day greeting our students and families as they arrive. By building connections and forming positive relationships, she ensures everyone who enters the doors feels part of the "Forbes school family."
