Closed out our week at Lake Kristi with back-to-back, action-packed events. ACES For Autism on Friday - Cry Freedom, Hope is Alive, and Foster care on Saturday. Even with the challenges of a boat breakdown and the occasional visit from snakes, it was an awesome, fun, and impactful two days!
Thank you to all our amazing volunteers who served these people so well over the this week. I know your hearts of compassion were felt by all in attendance.

Dean and I had an awesome 3 days at the 66th Nautique Masters - Callaway Gardens, GA! Nautique has been a partner of in his wakes from the beginning 24 years ago.
At the Masters Sunday Service I spoke about leaving a legacy that has eternal value. Two of the individuals I highlighted were Ralph Maloon and Rob Markham both had a direct impact on IHW.
Ralph Maloon started Correct Craft Boat company in 1925 with a motto of "Building boats for the glory of God. " Nautique and Centurion are part of that company and supply boats to IHW each year.
Rob Markham introduced himself to me 18 yrs ago at the Masters Sunday Service. Over the years he became a friend and champion of this ministry in so many ways. His heart to serve people was inspiring. Even though he passed away this past year, the Legacy he left behind will continue to have eternal value for years to come. Next week we will continue the two days of events he started years ago.

We seeing both of these incredible men but their legacies live on in a powerful, life-changing way!

Thank you Rhoni Burton-Bishcoff and the Nautique crew for putting on such amazing event!

People often think we spend our down days on the water playing. Although sometimes that is true more often than not, time is spent on something like this!
Had to pull the refrigerator out of the wall and completely replace the cooling unit! So thankful Dean Breitbach was along to help with this challenging task! And Aleshia Anne with her tools, 50 amp plug-in, and letting us camp out for a couple days while we worked on it! Next stop, Nautique Boats Masters - Pine Mountain, GA.

So thankful for people like this, with vehicles like that, willing to go above and beyond to make an event happen for kids like these!
Lake was so low no launches were open. If not for generous people who like this, the Camp Blanding event with FLYCA was not going to happen.
80 kids over the two days we're able to get off the dock and hear about the life changing power of Jesus Christ!
Thank you to all the volunteers who came from many different places with a single goal, loving on these kids and representing Jesus well!

Just returned from picking up this incredible Ri245 from the Centurion Factory in Merced California! My granddaughter has already given her stamp of approval.
As you can see, we make the most of our trips when we pick a boat up in the spring and drop it off in the fall. Surfing gnarly waves, donuts and world famous cinnamon rolls at Old West! Does it get any better!!??
Thank you Centurion Boats team for blessing In His Wakes and those we serve once again this season!!

So thankful for Aleshia Anne stepping up to take on the FL events! She is a valued IHW board member who is actively vested in this outreach.
Kicked of the 2026 season at Crystal Lake, FL with the kids from Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranch. Twice as many showed up as planned but thanks to the awesome FL volunteers they made it a true Day to Remember for all! Thank you to each one of them for representing Jesus well and showing these kids love and compassion!

Another Champion Moved to His Eternal, Heavenly Home:
We are heartbroken by the loss of a very special and loved member of the In His Wakes family this past week. Todd Ingersoll was an incredible friend to the ministry and my family for the past 19 years!
The first time my family and I met him will always be a cherished memory. He drove down to NC from WI with his son and a couple of his friends, to help with In His Wakes events for the week. On arrival they were all wearing matching polka dot board shorts. The legend and memory of the “Polka Dot Boys” lives on to this day!
Todd had a special place in his heart for the IHW outreach and the opportunity it provided to change lives. The annual events in Elkhorn, WI were always a highlight and place of great harvest for the Kingdom. He will be missed beyond words, but we will hold dear the memories and legacy he left behind.

Please keep the Ingersoll family in your prayers as they navigate through this profound loss.
