The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games will feature competition in 16 sports and will bring more than 3,000 athletes, 1,500 coaches, 10,000 volunteers and 75,000 fans from across North America together for the largest humanitarian event in Minnesota's history. The Special Olympics USA Games began in Ames, Iowa in 2006 and have continued every four years since, having been hosted in Lincoln, Nebraska (2010), New Jersey (2014), Seattle, Washington (2018) and Orlando, Florida (2022). You can catch the biggest moments of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games wherever you are thanks to ESPN! ๐ŸŽ‰

Beginning June 20, tune in to ESPN's live coverage of the Opening Ceremony from Minneapolis as thousands of incredible athletes take the spotlight at University of Minnesota Twin Cities. The celebration kicks off with an unforgettable Opening Ceremony featuring performances from Jon Batiste and Demi Lovato.

Plus, don't miss nearly 50 hours of live competition streaming all week on ESPN+.
A range of Special Olympics events, including athletics, swimming, powerlifting and flag football, will be available to stream on ESPN+ on the ESPN App.

Additional coverage includes ESPNโ€™s presentation of the NFL Networkโ€™s Flag Football Unified Game, while ABC will air dedicated preview and review programs. Enhanced by ESPNโ€™s industry-leading in-app features, including multiview, Special Olympics fans can experience the USA Games like never before.
