Community Builders Community Builders Mission is to develop programs that serve the youth in Upper Kittitas County day. Truly a fundraiser put on by the kids for their own program.

Our after-school programs:

C.R.A.S.H.: Creative Recreational After School Happenings. 6th-8th grade. G.E.A.R.: Growth Enrichment Activities Rock
3rd-5th grade

Middle School Lock In - Once a year we provide an over-night event hosted at Walter Strom Middle School. We provide safe supervised activities including: a dance, computer lab, board games, movies, open gym, hide and seek. Partnering with

the middle school administration this event is very well attended. Drug-Free Youth Retreat: We take 20 middle school and 10 high school aged kids for an over night event to celebrate their choice to be drug free. We have guest speakers, workshops, team building games and education on the way addiction effects the family unit. We partner with MERIT Resources for this event and the kids that have attended count this as their very favorite of all the events we provide. UKC Youth Activities Program: We partner with MERIT Resource Services for summer filled with alcohol and drug prevention activities. The events are once a week and take kids age 10 and older to a variety of venues including: Surf n Slide water park, Meadowbrook Family fun center, Lee Theatre and Slash Zone. "I Have a Dream" Dinner: Our annual fundraising dinner and silent auction on Martin Luther King Jr. Prize Ride: Each August we hold our annual Prize Ride at beautiful Silver Ridge Ranch in Easton, WA. A horse ride through the beautiful hills, collecting number as you go. Tons of prizes including cash for the highest and lowest hand. Our board is operated by volunteers who are committed to the cause. We are always looking for new ideas and always willing to accept a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION.
