Job descriptions could never fully capture what a Resource Coordinator actually does in a single week.
They are the first line of defense for a student who arrives hungry, the advocate for a family navigating sudden changes at home, and the vital bridge connecting our students and their families with basic needs, healthcare, winter coats, and essential community resources. They meet school communities exactly where they are: with zero judgment, boundless energy, and relentless heart. They ensure that what happens outside the school building doesn’t stand in the way of learning inside it.
This week is Resource Coordinator Appreciation Week, and the entire KidFuture CPS team wants to celebrate the remarkable leaders showing up every day for students and families across our partner schools:
