18 years ago, Tiffany lost her five-year-old son, Joey.
September 19 marks 18 years since his tragic passing. In the years that followed, Tiffany searched for anything that might make the pain stop—drugs, alcohol, relationships, the streets, and eventually a life that led her in and out of jail and into the Cincinnati Justice Center.
But that wasn’t the end of her story.
It was at BLOC, and specifically through the Redeemed Home, that God began a radical transformation in Tiffany’s life.
“The Holy Spirit started doing serious work in me, untangling the delusional web of lies and severe paranoia.”
For nearly two years, Tiffany walked through a journey of healing, learning to grieve, forgive, trust, love herself, rebuild relationships, and become a mother again. Most importantly, she discovered her identity in Christ.
She learned that she is a daughter of the Most High God.
Today, Tiffany celebrates Joey’s life—not from a place of destruction, but with gratitude for the time she was given with her son. And her life today looks radically different.
She has long-lasting sobriety. She’s a manager at her job. She has a home, a healthy relationship with her daughter, a savings account, and a relationship with Jesus that continues to grow.
And she still attends Bible study at the Redeemed Home every week.
Because BLOC isn’t just a program. It’s family.
Tiffany’s story is a beautiful reminder that no matter how broken life may become, God is still writing the story. Redemption is real. Healing is possible. And a new life can begin.
We are honored to walk alongside women like Tiffany and witness what God can do. 🤍
Please join us in honoring Joey’s life and celebrating the redemption God has brought into Tiffany’s story.
