Building Tomorrow's Leaders, One Voice at a Time The award winning Cincinnati Youth Choir is an educationally based choral ensemble program.

Participants learn healthy vocal technique, sight-reading, music history and music theory while experiencing performance excellence using the philosophies and techniques of Carl Orff, Zoltan Kodaly, Jacques Dalcroze and Jerome Brunner. The learning environment is creative, exploitative and fun. The children form lasting relationships with children outside of their community and develop a lifelong appreciation of music.

Cincinnati Youth Choir is looking for accompanists and a teacher for our Cincinnati Choral Academy programs. Our biggest need is accompanists!

🎹 Accompanists | $35/hour
• Parker Woods — Tues. & Wed., 8–9 AM
• Gamble — Tues., 3:45–5 PM
• Roll Hill — Wed., 2:15–3:45 PM
• Rees E. Price — Wed., 2:30–4 PM
• Sayler Park — Thurs., 2:45–4:15 PM
• Woodford — Thurs., 4–5:30 PM

🎶 Teacher | $75/rehearsal hour
• Gamble — Tues., 3:45–5 PM
• 5 Saturday workshop/performance days at $100/day

Cincinnati is the Queen City and next summer, she is singing with Cindy Ellis and Coty Raven Morris!! 🎶✨🌆

Join us at the 2027 Queen City Festival June 24-28, where we will be bringing youth voices together from around the country for a celebration of choral music, artistry, and community, featuring theeee Coty Raven-Morris and our very own Cindy Ellis.

The festival will also be open to individual local choristers by teacher recommendation. 🤗

🎶 📣 We are proud to announce our 2026-2027 team of ensemble directors.

Both in-town and out on tour, Hope Kesling-Milthaler from will lead Bel Canto, our traveling treble ensemble.

Kelsey D. Burkett from will lead Voci, our mixed ensemble, all the way through the Queen City Festival.

The one and only Jackie Thompson will continue her amazing work with Vivace.

Last but certainly not least, the outstanding Melissa Surman will continue her wonderful work with Piccolo Coro.

💛 The best part of Passport to Music Camp I? Our campers didn’t want it to end!

One parent shared that their daughter “was disappointed when the week came to an end. She loved it that much!” Another said, “You knocked it out of the park!”

🎉 Big news from Cincinnati Youth Choir!

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Ryan Ellis and Cindy Ellis as Cincinnati Youth Choir's new Co-Artistic Directors, effective with the 2026–27 season.

Ryan and Cindy bring exceptional artistry, extensive experience, and a deep commitment to youth music education. Together, they will lead C*C's artistic vision, programming, and instructional direction as we begin an exciting new chapter.

We invite our families, alumni, and community to meet Ryan and Cindy at our C*C Kickoff: Meet & Greet on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM in Watson Recital Hall at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
