Today, Community Shares of Greater Cincinnati met with Tara Jackson of the Self-Awareness Masking Program to discuss fiscal sponsorship and explore opportunities for a full partnership.

We believe that collaboration is key to helping organizations grow, expand their impact, and create lasting change in our communities.

Hamilton County is governed by a Board of County Commissioners. These three elected officials work together to run county government.
Here's what they do:
✅ Approve the annual county budget — deciding how public dollars are allocated across all county services
✅ Approve major county expenditures — from infrastructure projects to community programs
✅ Direct and supervise the County Administrator and their staff, who manage the day-to-day operations of county government
The Board of Commissioners sets priorities, controls spending, and provides oversight of how Hamilton County operates, including services many residents rely on every day, like Public Health, Job & Family Services, and more.
