It was a wonderful day on the green at our 3rd Annual Golf Outing this past Friday! ⛳️

Over 100 mentors, supporters, and community partners joined us at Great Parks The Mill Course for an 18-hole scramble, enjoying a day of friendly competition, networking, and fun—all while supporting our mission.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated and helped make the event a success. A special thank you to our event sponsors:Fifth Third Bank, BGR, Dinsmore & Shohl, Home City Ice, & Evan & Holly Clinkenbeard. We also extend our appreciation to all of our hole sponsors for their support throughout the day. Because of your generosity, we can continue creating meaningful mentorship opportunities for students across our region.

Thank you, Millstone Fund, for your support! These technology enhancements will help out organization strengthen our programs, improve efficiency, and better support the students, mentors, and schools we serve.

We are grateful for your investment in our mission and the future success of students across our region.

Adopt A Class helps students explore future career paths, develop life skills, and build confidence through meaningful mentoring relationships. Through classroom mentoring, career exploration activities, and field trips, students gain exposure to new opportunities and pathways for future success.

Millstone Fund is supporting technology enhancements that will help Adopt A Class streamline operations, improve data collection, and strengthen program coordination. These improvements will help them continue expanding their reach and impact as they work toward serving more students throughout the region.

Reminiscing on our inaugural Skilled Trades Day... 🛠️ 🦺 🚧

The 2025-2026 school year was filled with incredible milestones, and Skilled Trades Day was certainly one of them. Thanks to the support of our partners at Huseman Group and the City of Cincinnati, more than 1,200 seventh-grade students explored careers in construction, masonry, lineworking, and other skilled trades through demonstrations, equipment displays, and conversations with industry professionals.

We're grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible and inspired students to discover new career pathways. Check out the video below for a look back at this incredible day!

Today's Mentor Spotlight is Wendal!

Wendal joined our program in 2024 and has already impacted more than 50 students through career-connected mentorship. Currently paired with a 6th grade class at Holmes Middle School (Covington Independent Public Schools), Wendal is helping students explore the world of artificial intelligence, technology, and data-driven decision making while introducing them to exciting career opportunities in the growing tech industry.

Recently, mentors and students completed an entrepreneurship project in which each group developed its own product, including its purpose, cost, and design. Students then presented their ideas to the class, building their creativity, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills along the way.

We are grateful for Wendal's dedication to inspiring the next generation of innovators and leaders! 🧡
