Thank you SO much to everyone who donated coffee creamer after we sounded the alarm! We were completely out, and most of our guests take their coffee with cream and sugar.

The scale is hard to show here (maybe we should've placed a banana in the photo), but the biggest containers in the back layer are each 3.5lbs and almost 800 servings of creamer. We are good for a few months thanks to all you kind and caring folks stepping up.

Our Daily Bread's community is just amazing. We are so blessed! 🤩☕️

We are completely out of coffee creamer!

For many, a cup of coffee is how we start our day off right. Our Daily Bread serves 500+ cups of coffee per day, and most of our guests prefer theirs with cream and sugar. Right now, we're bummed to be stuck serving it black. 🙁

DELIVERY: If you'd like to help by having creamer delivered to us, our Amazon wishlist is at bit.ly/odbwish

DROP-OFF*: We also have drop-off hours (no parking necessary!) Monday-Friday, 7am-12 noon at our back door. We’re at 1730 Race St. across the street from Findlay Market. From Race St., turn left right before our building (big, yellow, and now has a large mural on the side) onto Elder St., and take your first right into the parking lot. Just pull up to our donation door, ring the bell, and we’ll help you unload.

*If you're dropping off, that's the only way we can get bulk sugar. Ordering it shipped is very cost-prohibitive, so if you're picking up creamer and want to grab some sugar as well, that's a huge help! We are always low on sugar.

We are touched and proud to have a new mural adorning our building on the Elder St side! Photographer Frank Young and artist Jim Tucker collaborated for Blink to honor loved and respected OTR and Our Daily Bread community members.

Frank carefully photographed Sarah who works with ODB guests as part of the Hamilton County Quick Response Team, Ms Ruby who is a longtime ODB guest and community member, Mr Yip who owns Saigon Market at Findlay Market across the street, Barbara who lovingly volunteered with ODB for three decades, Joe who is another longtime ODB guest and artist who knows just about everybody in OTR, and finally, Jim painted a portrait of Cookie, ODB’s beloved founder, right by our front door.

Jim’s painting work gave each portrait a soft frame to rest within and reflected what we do inside ODB, featuring lots of food, unique characters, and fun energy.

We are grateful to have gotten to know Jim and Frank during this process, and we are so glad to have a colorful piece of art on our building that is pleasing to the eye and such a good fit for ODB and OTR. Come check it out these next couple nights of Blink and for long after. ❤️☕️

Grain of Hope is officially completed, and we are ECSTATIC! If you’re in OTR for Blink, stop by our rear wall to see it in person. We are so grateful to Hamilton County ReSource for supporting this project and beautifying our building. ❤️

Grain of Hope shares the story of food rescue from the perspective of a loaf of bread on a journey of self-fulfillment. Written and illustrated by Our Daily Bread’s Kat Heilman, Grain of Hope demonstrates just how important it is to make sure good food stays out of the landfill, even if it’s a little different or misunderstood. 🍞

We've officially kicked off our food-rescue partnership with Chick-fil-A! Their new Clifton location will be sharing great food with us as an ongoing rescue partner, transported of course by Last Mile Food Rescue! This week, they brought us fresh eats from three locations to serve every one of our guests, and then surprised us with a big check! Thank you to Chik Fil A for your support and positive energy.

We are so lucky to have two amazing artists, Jim Tucker and Frank Young, collaborating on our Elder St. wall to honor our community as part of Blink! They've been working hard on the piece all week.

They describe the design as "a love letter to the city, consisting of elements that represent the non-profit’s everyday work."

Check out what they have to say about the mural: https://www.fox19.com/2026/10/01/cultural-cornerstone-what-art-blink-means-cincinnati/

We asked some of our staff, “What do you like best about your coworker Meelah?” Thank you, Meelah, for being the wonderful person you are, and for all you contribute to our work at ODB! 😊
