This week we honored our 8th grade scholars as they step into becoming the leaders of the school with our annual Rites of Passage ceremony.

The 8th-grade young men received their T.I.E.S, symbolizing Tenacity, Integrity & Excellence. They recieve it with the expectation that excellence is not just something they achieve but something they live.

Our young ladies recieved their Pearls of Wisdom, to encourage and inspire them to lead with character and walk in faith.

Our Little Learners Academy scholars are cruising into the new school year! 🚲
Pedal bikes help our Little Learners build balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and confidence while encouraging independence and active play. As they pedal, steer, stop, and navigate, our scholars are developing important gross motor skills and learning to problem-solve all while having fun with their friends!

A great first week deserves a great celebration, and Holy Family spirit was high at our end-of-week pep rally on Friday. Our scholars brought their energy and JOY with them, setting the tone for the year to come.

Over the weekend we had the honor of joining the congregation at Lutheran Church of the Atonement - Barrington, IL for a special Sunday morning of worship and extended community.

Four of our scholars shared a chapel presentation with Pastor Hunter during both services and had the opportunity to connect with church members between services. We’re grateful for these opportunities that encourage our scholars to grow in faith and leadership!

We're excited to share the trailer for "Holy Family: A Bridge Between Two Communities," a documentary created in partnership with Chicago History Museum exploring the rich history of Holy Family Ministries and Holy Family Church, our founding congregation. A group of our scholars worked diligently this year as oral historians, bringing this project to life and learning extensively about their school and community along the way. Local screening opportunities coming soon!
