Priority Period includes:
• Older adults age 60 and older
• Individuals with a disability
• Households with children age 5 and under
• Households that are disconnected or facing imminent disconnection

Beginning November 1, 2026:
All income eligible households can apply.

Six free pet vaccine & microchip clinics are happening across Chicagoland this month, courtesy of Cook County Animal & Rabies Control’s Partners in Prevention program and local shelters and parishes.

Here’s the rundown:

•Sat, Oct 3 - 7th District Chicago Police Dept, 1438 W. 63rd St. - 11am-3pm

•Sat, Oct 3 - Our Lady of Africa Parish, 607 E. Oakwood Blvd. - 10am-1pm

•Sat, Oct 10 - Thomas Kelly College Prep, 4136 S. California Ave. - 10am-1pm (60632 residents only)

•Sat, Oct 10 - Estelle Sieb Community Center, Norridge, 7774 W. Irving Park Rd. - 10am-1pm Sat, Oct 10 - Canine Therapy Corps, 3918 W. Fullerton Ave. - 10am-1pm

•Sat, Oct 10 - 7th District Chicago Police Dept (2nd session), 1438 W. 63rd St. - 11am-3pm
All offer a free 1-year rabies vaccine (plus distemper/FVRCP) and microchipping for dogs and cats - free while supplies last, so arrive early.
