The Learning Center is a community based adult education center which offers FREE education to men a
nd women in the North Lawndale and Little Village communities. Students of The Learning Center acquire knowledge and skills in reading, writing, math, and related subjects; and by preparing for the GED/HiSET test. Students grow in self confidence and increase their awareness of the cultural, educational, and employment resources of the city of Chicago. Since 1983 quality education has been the goal of the center. To that end, we offer FREE classes and participate in a partnership with Malcolm X College, which has provided us with adult educators for over 35 years.
