Ghosts aren’t the only things haunting us this Halloween , old myths about mental health still linger in the dark. 👻
And they’re far scarier than anything that goes bump in the night.

Let’s shine a lantern on the truth and break the curse together.

🩸 Myth #1: “Therapy is only for crazy people.”
💡 Truth: Therapy is for anyone who wants to heal, understand, and grow.

🕯️ Myth #2: “If you look fine, you’re fine.”
💡 Truth: Not all battles are visible. Even those who seem okay might be struggling inside.

🪞 Myth #3: “You can just snap out of it.”
💡 Truth: Healing isn’t instant. It takes time, care, and patience ,not pressure.

💬 Myth #4: “Talking about it makes it worse.”
💡 Truth: Silence is what feeds fear. Talking breaks the curse and opens doors to healing.

🖤 Myth #5: “Men shouldn’t talk about feelings.”
💡 Truth: Real men do talk. Strength isn’t hiding pain , it’s facing it.

The real fright isn’t mental health , it’s the silence surrounding it.

This Halloween, let’s unmask the stigma, share the truth, and make caring for your mind normal. 💙

Today is POTS Awareness Day , a moment to stand for those whose bodies struggle to stand.

Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) is a disorder of the autonomic nervous system that affects how blood flows through the body. For people living with POTS, something as simple as standing up can cause their heart rate to skyrocket, leaving them dizzy, faint, and exhausted. It’s often invisible, misunderstood, and mistaken for anxiety , but it’s real, chronic, and life-changing.

At CarrCARE, we believe that every story deserves visibility and compassion.

POTS affects millions worldwide, mostly women and young adults and many wait years before receiving a diagnosis. Behind every brave face is someone fighting to stay upright, to work, to learn, to live fully.

Today, we honor their resilience. We raise our voices for those whose symptoms are unseen but deeply felt.

You can help:
👕 Wear teal or purple to show support.
📲 Share this post to educate your community.
💬 Talk about invisible illnesses awareness begins with conversation.
🎗️ Support research and advocacy through organizations like Dysautonomia International and Standing Up to POTS.

Every share helps someone feel seen. Every word helps someone feel believed. Every action brings us closer to understanding.

Because awareness saves lives, and hope heals.

At CarrCARE, we believe: health is a human right, not a privilege.

The World Health Organization affirms that every person has the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health. World Health Organization.

Yet, over 4.5 billion people worldwide are not fully covered by essential health services.

This isn’t just a statistic, it’s a call to action.
