Quenepa has already taken on one of life’s biggest jobs: being a mother.

This 4-year-old came to Anti-Cruelty and gave birth to her litter of eight in July. Throughout their first weeks of life, Quenepa was the picture of patience and gentleness, caring for all the little ones as they grew. She even accompanied her newborns on walks around the shelter, riding alongside them in a stroller while they took in the world together.

Now, with all eight puppies weaned and settled into loving homes, it’s finally Quenepa’s turn. She has given her puppies the chance to start their lives surrounded by love, and we hope someone will give Quenepa that same opportunity.

Ginger has two modes: sweet little angel and goofy young lady still figuring out this whole life thing. She’s potty trained, dog-social, playful, and pretty chill. She’s also working through some anxiety, so she needs someone who’s in it for the long haul, even when things feel a little ruff.

Got room for a Ginger in your life? She’s ready to meet you. Ginger’s bio: bit.ly/4zpxyvo
