EXTENDED THROUGH MONDAY!

Didn’t find your match yesterday? We’re right here at Grand and LaSalle in Chicago!

Adoption fees are now WAIVED through Monday, so there’s still time to meet your new best friend and make a homecoming happen.

Some adoption updates just make your heart happy. This one from Hugo’s family is especially sweet:

“As much as we loved the name Kato, we renamed him Hugo! Hugo has been a fantastic dog and couldn’t be more proud of him. He’s very playful, goofy, and always looking to make his parents happy. He’s the best thing to happen to me in a very long time.

He likes to follow you around and boop with his nose to get your attention. He’s also a very lazy boy and loves to sleep and cuddle.”

WE. DID. IT!!!

Clear the Shelters is officially a wrap, and Chicago absolutely showed up.

108 animals are going home.

There were lines around the block, blue tags everywhere and a whole lot of “Did we just become best friends? YUP!” And by the end of the day, 108 animals had a forever family waiting for them.

That is 108 kennels with a little more room. 108 homes with a new family member. And 108 very good reasons to celebrate tonight.

Adoption fees were waived today thanks to the generosity of Steve Parenti in loving memory of Marcelle (Russell) and Albert Parenti.

To everyone who adopted, shared, donated, volunteered, waited in line or cheered us on from afar: THANK YOU.

Chicago, you cleared some shelters.

GORDO + SKY ARE GOING HOME. TOGETHER!

This mom and son are both getting their happily ever after today.

Gordo and Sky are a bonded pair, and thanks to waived adoption fees for Clear the Shelters going on today only until 6pm, they get to leave together and start their next chapter as a family.

Two blue tags. One forever home. We LOVE to see it!

ROB DID IT. We have our FIRST ADOPTION of Clear the Shelters!

Rob the cat said, “Thanks for the hospitality, but I’ll be taking my talents to my forever home.” And just like that, he’s OUT. Congrats, Rob. You beautiful little legend.

Today’s the day... HAPPY CLEAR THE SHELTERS DAY!!

Doors open at 11am and adoption fees are waived for all available animals. Remember: Every adoption creates space for another pet who needs our help.
