National Kidney Foundation of Illinois Additionally, the National Kidney Foundation, its affiliates and divisions are leaders in the funding of medical research in the area of kidney diseases.

The National Kidney Foundation of Illinois works closely with community leaders, healthcare professionals, and civic-minded corporate partners to improve the lives of patients and families affected by kidney disease. We provide educational programs and support for individuals living with kidney disease and their families, continuing education programs for healthcare professionals, and advocacy to advance initiatives that directly affect the care and treatment of kidney disease. Over one third of the medical research funded in the United States for kidney disease is funded by the NKF, its affiliates and divisions.
