Meet your party. 🌲

On September 3rd, these CTGA Directors are heading into Red Gate Woods and we can’t promise all of them are coming back the same.

That’s not the only thing happening that night. We have a big CTGA announcement coming your way. Follow us on Twitch so you’re notified the second we go live. Link in bio.

Mark it down. 🌲

Not far within the Red Gate Woods lies a site of power abandoned by those that created it. Buried deep and left to rot and be forgotten. But perhaps not deep enough to drown out the happy voices in the picturesque park above it. Not deep enough to keep it hidden from those willing to use it....

Or maybe everything is just fine and our heroes will have a lovely day at the park. Tune in to find out!

On September 3rd, some of your CTGA board members are heading into Red Gate Woods, and we’re not entirely sure what they’re going to find.

The CTGA and the Legend of Red Gate Woods. Live, 6 PM CDT, one night only.

Follow us on Twitch now so you get the notification when we go live. Link in bio.

🏈 CTGA FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE 🏈

Think you know ball? Think you don’t know ball? Either way, you’re invited.

We’re kicking off our inaugural Fantasy Football League and we want you in it. No fantasy experience required. No football knowledge required. Just vibes, spite, and a willingness to argue about a kicker.

Loser bracket included, because even the doomed deserve a chance to prove something.

📅 Signups close 8/31
📅 Live draft 9/1–9/6
📅 Season kicks off 9/9
📅 Playoffs 12/15
📅 CTGA Fantasy Football Super Bowl 12/29

Spots are limited and filled first-come, first-served. We need even numbers across divisions, so signing up doesn’t guarantee you’re in. Get on it early.

Sign up in our bio. Share with a friend who thinks they’re good at this.

You might make friends. You might learn what a waiver wire is. You might simply discover you are extremely bad at this. All valid outcomes.

🍄🌲 SPORE LORE: CTGA’S FIRST-EVER MUSHROOM WALK 🌲🍄

It’s time to leave the dungeon behind and venture into the woods.

CTGA is teaming up with the Chicago Mushroom Club for an afternoon of mushroom spotting, forest wandering, and learning about the strange, wonderful fungi growing right here in Chicago.

Join us Sunday, September 6 at 3 PM at North Park Village Walking Stick Woods for a guided mushroom walk! We’ll be stopping along the trail to observe, photograph, and discuss our fungal finds. The walk is typically about 90 minutes, but may run closer to two hours if we’re having a particularly good time (or the mushrooms are showing off). ✨🍄‍🟫Registration link in bio! Space is limited!🍄‍🟫✨

🧙 GNOMES, GOBLINS & MUSHROOM WIZARDS ENCOURAGED.
Come dressed for your woodland adventure—or just come as you are.

🥾 Wear comfortable shoes and long pants (ticks are a thing!)
🍄 No harvesting—this is an observation and learning expedition
🌲 We’ll be stopping frequently, so the group will stay together

Come roll for Nature. 🎲🍄
