Thank you to all the exhibitors at the Lincoln Square Farmers Market (https://www.facebook.com/lincolnsquarefarmersmarket), who donated produce to the Pantry this week! Volunteer Lisa Hendricks picks up at the market every Tuesday so we can provide more fresh vegetables, fruit and other food to our clients on Wednesday.
This week we received generous donations from Los Rodriguez Farm (www.losrodriguezfarm.com), Noffke Family Farms- Lincoln Park (Noffke Family Farms- Lincoln Park) and Mick Klüg Farms (https://mickklugfarms.com).
We appreciate their contributions to helping provide our clients with the freshest produce available!

A sunny early summer day brought out 84 clients, who volunteers helped shop for their 260 family members. The line moved steadily and then tapered off in the last hour, allowing volunteers to wrap up and close down right on time.
We appreciate all the hard work our volunteers put into ensuring all of our neighbors who visit the Pantry get all the food they need and do it with a smile on their faces each week!

A beautiful summer morning brought in nearly 8,000 pounds of food to our volunteers from the Greater Chicago Food Depository, beginning the work for our first distribution of June on Wednesday.
Anyone living in our priority ZIP codes of 60641 or 60618 is welcome to visit the Pantry (4256 N. Ridgeway Ave.,) from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday to shop the full array of food and extra items we offer. That includes all of our grocery options plus toiletries and pet food. Those outside of that area can use this link to find a closer pantry: https://www.chicagosfoodbank.org/find-food.
*Please note:* We are providing expanded indoor waiting space for clients due to the inclement weather that can happen at any time.
