Happy birthday to our national hero, José Rizal! Throughout his life, Dr. Rizal showed an immense capacity for learning. He spoke over 20 different languages, advanced the field of ophthalmology, and even discovered multiple species that were later named after him.

At Balikbayan Book Club, we encourage everyone to practice a Rizal-like curiosity and to read about and discuss diverse ideas with an open mind.
