Leo has a family who loves him. We need your help getting them back under one roof.

Meet Leo, a Great Dane who is temporarily boarding with us at Famous Fido Rescue while his family faces homelessness. They want to keep their beloved boy, and we are helping them through this difficult time so they can reunite.

Leo had been staying with his guardian’s sister-in-law when they lost their home, but she lives in a senior living facility. When the facility issued a violation because Leo exceeded its pet weight limit, he had to leave. His family was left searching for another safe place for him while trying to find housing for themselves.

Losing your home is devastating. Facing separation from an animal you love makes that hardship even heavier. Our intervention program exists to help families through crises like this, and for Leo, our hope is a homecoming with the people who already love him.

His family is seeking a three-bedroom apartment for $1,400 a month or less that will allow a Great Dane. If you know of an available apartment, a landlord willing to welcome Leo, or a housing resource that could help, please email [email protected].

Somewhere, there’s a family photo with room for two little faces at the bottom. We’d love those faces to belong to Chucky and Ducky.

These miniature pinscher × chihuahua puppy brothers came to Famous Fido Rescue when their person could no longer care for them. Their lives have barely begun, and already they’ve had to leave a home behind.

Now we’re hoping someone will picture them in theirs. Two little beds, or one big enough to share. Names called from the back door. Puppy lessons taught with patience. Years from now, two familiar faces looking up at the people who chose them and kept choosing them.

We would love to see Chucky and Ducky adopted together. Each deserves time, attention, and the chance to grow into his own little personality, with a family who understands that bringing puppies home is a promise that lasts well beyond puppyhood.

Cassie is just a puppy, and every day she spends waiting in a rescue center is a day she could be learning what it feels like to belong.

She should be waking up in a home, playing with toys, following her person from room to room, and falling asleep beside someone who loves her. Instead, this gentle little girl is watching and waiting for a family to come.

Cassie is friendly, incredibly sweet, and wonderful with other dogs. She weighs about 15lbsnow and is expected to be around 30lbs when fully grown. She has so much love to give and she simply needs someone willing to open their heart and receive it.

At just nine weeks old, Lieutenant pulls her little hind legs behind her, but she deserves a future filled with comfort, safety, and love.

This precious girl has a broken pelvis and cannot use her hind legs. Her bladder needs to be manually expressed, and she hasn’t eaten enough to have a bowel movement yet, so we are waiting to see how that goes. We have been told she is too young for surgery, and she is currently receiving pain medication.

We are looking for someone who can welcome Lieutenant home and commit to her special care needs. Her recovery is still uncertain, but she needs a safe place to rest and someone who will patiently help her through each day.

This is our plea from the heart - please, someone choose Mr Big.

This beautiful 6-year-old cat lost his home when his guardian was evicted. In one painful moment, everything familiar disappeared and the person he trusted, the place where he felt safe, and the life he understood. Now he spends his days in a busy rescue center, searching for affection and hoping someone will stop long enough to truly see him.

Mr Big is deeply unhappy here. He is an affectionate, tender-hearted cat who needs the peace of a calm home and the security of knowing he belongs to someone again. Every gentle touch means so much to him, but those brief moments cannot replace having a person of his own.

We know there is someone who would love coming home to this sweet boy. Someone who has a quiet corner, a warm lap, and room in their heart for a cat who desperately needs a fresh start. Mr Big has already lost enough. He should not have to keep waiting and wondering why nobody has come for him.

Their whole lives are ahead of them. We want Spider and Webster to spend those lives loved and together.

Spider is our little black tuxedo, and Webster is our orange boy. These tiny kittens were surrendered together, and they seem so sad in the rescue. At an age when their world should be full of play, comfort, and gentle affection, they’re adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings without a family of their own.

You could give them that family. Imagine two little faces greeting you each morning, toys scattered across your floor, and two sleepy kittens curled up together nearby. As you watch them grow, you’ll become the person they trust, the home they know, and the love they can count on.

They’ve had their veterinary checkups, vaccines, and microchips, and they’re ready to go home together. Please consider making room for both.

We’re getting so excited for our Halloween Bash at Famous Fido Rescue, and we really hope you’ll be joining us! We’re planning a fantastic celebration with delicious food, spooky treats, raffles, and plenty of Halloween fun! It’s going to be a wonderful opportunity to get together with friends, enjoy the festivities, and support something truly special.

Every ticket purchased helps the rescue animals! With more than 100 cats and dogs depending on us for food, veterinary care, shelter, and love, events like this make an enormous difference. Not one person has shown an interest in Sunny. And we just can't understand why.

We look at this beautiful boy every day and wish we could explain to him that somewhere out there, there must be someone who would absolutely adore him. Someone who would laugh at his goofy personality, spoil him with his favorite treats, take him on walks, and make him feel like the most important dog in the world.

Because Sunny really is wonderful.

He's a 4-year-old labrador mix with such a gentle, affectionate nature. He's friendly with people of all ages, gets along with other animals, and has a funny, lovable personality that our volunteers have completely fallen for. He's the kind of dog who could bring so much happiness into someone's home, and it makes us terribly sad that nobody has even asked to meet him.

Especially knowing what he's already survived.

Sunny was abandoned and found collapsed in the summer heat, his body temperature reaching a terrifying 109 degrees. He nearly lost his life. Thanks to emergency veterinary care, he survived, and we thought surely this sweet boy would soon have the chance to experience a life filled with love.

Instead, he's spending another day at the rescue, without a family of his own.

Sunny was born with a unique mouth and jaw, which means he eats a little differently and cannot safely undergo anesthesia or be neutered. We know his future family will need to understand these special considerations. But there is so much more to Sunny than the things that make him different. He has a beautiful personality, an enormous capacity for love, and so much life left to enjoy.

We don't want people to adopt Sunny out of pity. We want someone to meet him and discover what we already know - that he is a fantastic dog who deserves to be loved and appreciated for the rest of his life.

Could we please ask everyone to share Sunny with their friends and family? Maybe you don't have room for another dog, but your sister does. Maybe a coworker has been thinking about adopting. Maybe someone you know has recently been missing the companionship of a dog and would love to welcome a wonderful boy like Sunny.

One conversation, one share, one introduction could change everything for him.

We don't want Sunny to keep waiting simply because the right person hasn't heard about him yet.

Please help us find the family who will look at Sunny and see their new best friend. He has so much love to give, and we desperately want him to have someone to give it to.
