Breaking News: Young people are creating a plan for how the city and institutions can support youth mental health; a process that calls for institutions to listen and support young people's vision.

Thank you to Darcel Rockett for this illuminating article that digs deep on why it is so important to engage youth in the decisions that affect them most deeply and how their engagement in the Healing Through Justice model can be life changing and affirming.

Come join us at our annual Youth Summit. This year's summit is about co-creating a 5-Year Youth-Led Mental Health & Well-Being Plan for our city. All ages are welcome!

Last year, we created space for youth to break the silence and speak honestly about their experiences across education, mental health, and public safety.

And what we learned was clear:
When youth are invited into decision-making spaces, real change happens.

“This bike is a story about where we came from and the differences in where we are now,” Juan said. “I’d like my bike to not just represent me, but all Latinos. To show that yes, we can make it here.”
