Join us in congratulating First Tee – Greater Chicago alumni, Jasmine McGhee on being named a 2026 First Tee Scholar!

This fall, Jasmine will attend Cornell University, where she’ll continue pursuing her academic and professional goals.

The First Tee College Scholarship Program recognizes participants who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, character, and community involvement. We’re proud to celebrate Jasmine and all she has accomplished through First Tee.

We’re incredibly proud of Jasmine and excited to see all she’ll accomplish in this next chapter. Having watched her grow through the program over the years, it’s especially meaningful to celebrate her as she prepares to graduate and begin her college journey. We can’t wait to see where the future takes her!

Big news! Please join us in welcoming Ryan Baker as the new CEO of First Tee – Greater Chicago. ⛳

A familiar face to Chicago sports fans, Ryan brings decades of leadership, storytelling, and a passion for using sports to make a difference. As a longtime supporter of our mission, he’s ready to help us reach even more kids and teens across Chicago.

And that’s a wrap on our 4 week Sunshine Through Golf program!

Over the past month, we welcomed approximately 250 participants each Thursday, creating opportunities for people with special needs to enjoy the game, connect with others, and create memories! It’s been incredible to see the enthusiasm and growth with this program.

Huge thanks to the CDGA for their partnership and support in making this possible!

Thank you as well to our coaches, volunteers, and participants for making this such a success. We are so grateful for everyone who made these past 4 weeks so memorable!

Sunshine Through Golf is back!
We are proud to partner with the CDGA and Special Olympics Chicago by coaching their adult athletes, giving them the chance to learn and enjoy golf in a supportive and inclusive environment. Through this 4-week program, participants build confidence, social skills, coordination, and friendships, all while being introduced to the game of golf and the values that come with it!
