We believe life is to be celebrated whenever possible and that everyone has a duty to support one another, and lend a helping hand to those who need it. We have chosen to take our athletic abilities and love of performing to raise funds for the direct care services of men, women and children living with life-threatening challenges. The Chicago Spirit Brigade is a community-based fundraising organization whose purpose is to raise money and awareness for non-profit groups that provide direct care services to individuals with life-threatening challenges. Our History
From a humble beginning of four pioneers, CSB now features over 35 volunteer performers ranging in age from 21 to 50+, who represent a cross section of American demographics. Since its founding as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization over 10 years ago, CSB has raised more than $100,000 for 30+ Chicagoland and regional non-profit organizations. Many of our beneficiaries are listed here. Donations are collected at the conclusion of CSB performances by members who pass red “Spirit Buckets” through the crowds. 100% of what is collected in the buckets is tabulated, recorded and goes directly to the designated beneficiary for that performance, with CSB keeping nothing for itself.

Congratulations to this week’s spirit stick and fan winners and ! Lauren is a returning member on dance who continually gives back to the team through her work on both fundraising and social committee, has performed on both cheer and dance as well as Poms and all star and always gives the crowd a great show! She also runs her own business! Lanie is a first year member on cheer who is super versatile, always has a smile and always shows up with great energy to cheer on the team!  We are so happy to have these members on our team! Come see us all perform at our friends and family showcase on May 31st! If you can’t make it in person we will also be live streaming the event!!

Congratulations to this week’s spirit stick and fan winners and ! Meredith is a first year member who shows up to practice with a great attitude and always keeps trying no matter what happens. Reina is a returning member and always gives us an incredible performance and is choreographing one of our dance sections this year! We are so grateful for these lovely people who always lift up our team’s spirits!

Congratulations to our spirit stick and fan winners this week Erica and Shante! These members not only shine in performances but they help keep the lights on behind the scenes. Erica leads our social media team and Shante serves as general manager, they both volunteer an incredible amount of their free time to make sure so we can keep putting on a great show year after year. We are so grateful to have these talented returning members on our team! Erica here: last video is of starlight one of the teams Shante and I coached together. They were all new and undefeated. I’m very proud of us.
