Ryan, drummer for Gaelic Storm, and his bandmate Peter Purvis are running the Chicago Marathon this weekend in honor of their friend who passed away from ALS.

We’re proud to have them running with Team ALS and carrying their friend’s memory with them every mile. 🏃‍♂️

🏃‍♂️🧡 It’s race week, and we have so much in store as we get ready for the Chicago Marathon!

Drummer for Gaelic Storm and Team ALS runner Ryan Lacey will be featured on ABC 7 Chicago evening news tonight with John Garcia! And that’s not all, Ryan will also be on the Ramblin Ray Stevens Show on WLS-AM 890 this Thursday at 8:35 AM.

It’s marathon week! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💛

Being a part of Team ALS is more than crossing the finish line. It’s about raising awareness, honoring those we’ve lost, and running for those who can’t. Ten years ago, we had 105 runners raising roughly $143,000. Today, we have more than 250 runners and over $3 million raised through the years. It’s been incredible to see how much the program has grown over the years.

Good luck to all of our runners! We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.
