Investing in our principals is investing in our students! 💙

This week, principals from across the Cristo Rey Network gathered at Cristo Rey Fort Worth College Prep for two days of professional development on instructional leadership, with an emphasis on cognitive demand, rigorous classroom instruction, and actionable strategies to improve student learning.

Year 1 and Year 2 principals participated in an additional day of PD focused on strengthening instructional leadership, including classroom observations at the school, and opportunities to reflect and learn alongside fellow school leaders.

Last night we hosted an incredible event, "Putting Education to Work in an AI World". Our panelists explored how innovative partnerships among employers, higher education, and our Cristo Rey schools are expanding opportunity, developing tomorrow's workforce, and preparing the next generation of purpose-driven leaders.

Huge thanks to our moderator, Anne Thompson, NBC News, and to our panelists:
- Adam Kronk, DELTA Network, University of Notre Dame
- Marty Rodgers, Accenture and Cristo Rey Champion
- Jeanine Turner, Georgetown University
- Grace Connors, PhD Candidate, The Catholic University of America

The energy in the room was inspiring, and we're grateful to everyone who joined us, including longtime champions, new friends, members of our Board of Directors, and members of our Cristo Rey Network Alumni Association. And a big shoutout to the University of Notre Dame Washington Office for welcoming us for this incredible evening.

At our 41 Cristo Rey schools, back to school doesn't just mean new classes... it also means gearing up for students' first day on the job.

Every Cristo Rey student spends one day a week working a real, professional job through our unique Corporate Work Study program, developing professional skills while earning a significant portion of their own private education costs.

We believe in our students, and so do our partners. It shows: students who earn strong marks from their workplace supervisors are 32% more likely to graduate college, regardless of GPA.

To all our 3,500+ partners across the country, new and returning: thank you, and welcome to a new school year!

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Kinda chic that a high schooler could be earning a rigorous, college preparatory education and building a professional network at the same time... before they even have a diploma.

What an incredible few days in Atlanta!

More than 130 passionate professionals from across the country came together at Georgia Institute of Technology for the Cristo Rey Network’s 2026 Summit on College Success. Together, we engaged in energizing conversations, exchanged ideas, built meaningful connections, and explored ways to strengthen college counseling, alumni advising, university partnerships, and college-going culture across our schools.

A heartfelt thank you to Georgia Tech and Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School for their warm hospitality; to Georgia Tech, Dabima, and Stonehill College for their generous sponsorship; and to our featured speakers: Rick Clark, Sofia Gonzalez M.Ed., MA, and Dr. Timothy Renick, for sharing their expertise and inspiring our community.

We left Atlanta energized and ready to keep opening doors for Cristo Rey students, to and through college and into meaningful careers!
