What actually happens at the MCA Summer Meeting?

It’s not just presentations — it’s conversations. Real ones.

Across two days, industry professionals come together to share insights, tackle challenges, and collaborate on the future of metal construction. From market trends to technical discussions, every session is designed to move the industry forward.

You’ll hear from experts, participate in roundtables, and connect with peers across the supply chain — all in one place. Really.

A building’s performance starts with how it’s protected.

Metal systems are designed to withstand environmental exposure while delivering long-term durability and low maintenance — as seen in the Zinc Boathouse project.

Material choice plays a critical role in how buildings perform over time.

Buildings are exposed to more than just the elements — they’re expected to perform through them.

From large-scale arenas to residential applications, metal systems are designed to handle diverse climates and environmental demands.

Modern design can do more than elevate aesthetics. It can also transform communities.

At the Esperanza Brighton Park Health Center, metal composite material (MCM) was used to create a bold, angular facade that reflects light and shifts in color, bringing energy and identity to an underserved neighborhood.

Designed by JGMA, the project uses over 10,000 square feet of aluminum composite material panels to deliver both visual impact and long-term performance.

See how MCM supports both design intent and community impact:

Infrastructure is built to last — or it should be.

As Infrastructure Week highlights the importance of long-term investment, material choice plays a critical role in how roads, facilities, and systems perform over time.

Metal continues to support projects designed for durability, efficiency, and long-term value.

If you work with metal — this is where the future shows up first.

METALCON 2026 isn’t just a trade show — it’s the only global event dedicated exclusively to how metal is used in design and construction across the building envelope.

From new products and systems to real-world applications and emerging trends, this is where the industry comes to see what’s next — and how to apply it.

Architects, contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers from around the world gather to explore innovations shaping:

Roofing
Wall systems
Building performance
Constructability

What does a high-performing building envelope actually look like?

It starts with a system that works together.

Insulated metal panels combine air, water, thermal, and v***r control into a single solution — helping create a continuous building envelope designed for efficiency and long-term performance.

Designing with metal, but not sure you’re getting the most out of it?

From detailing and constructability to performance and integration, metal systems offer more flexibility than many projects fully take advantage of.

On May 29, architects across the region are taking a closer look at how metal can elevate building envelope design — without adding complexity.

✔ 3 AIA CEs
✔ Free to attend
✔ Real-world applications

If you’re specifying metal, this is a conversation worth being part of.
