Join us in welcoming our newest hire: Youth Care Aide, Sharita Faniel!

Sharita will join our Group Homes team to ensure that the youth in our housing program are safe, have the resources they need to succeed, and have the guidance they need to build a better life. We know she will do amazing work with Kids Above All, and we can't wait to see her and her youth thrive.

Welcome to Team Kids Above All Sharita!

Father’s Day can look different for every child and every family.

Kids Above All honor the dads, father figures, mentors, and all who step into a child’s life with compassion and commitment. Your impact ensures children have a pillar to lean on, and that they receive the love and acceptance they need to grow into independent, productive adults. We're grateful for everything you do to make this possible.

Happy Father's Day!

On June 19, 1865, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved people in Texas were finally granted their freedom. This day symbolizes the strength and resilience of the Black American community, while also serving as a reminder of our country's painful history.

Join us in honoring this historic day as we work toward building better lives for ALL children and families. There are still many steps that need to be taken to make the world a safe place for every child; knowledge and empathy are only the beginning.

To Black Americans who choose to celebrate today, we hope the day brings you joy and warmth. To those who may find this time more difficult, we hope you are able to find peace and community.

Congratulations to the children in our Lake County Parent Empowerment Program! Our young ones have reached a big milestone: graduation!

After working with their parents and Parent Educators to develop their emotional, language, physical, and social skills, our children have finally graduated from the PEP program. We are proud of their hard work and level of growth, and we know they will continue to reach their goals.

Thank you to the Kids Above All Early Childhood team for ensuring our kids had the resources they needed to reach their full potential. Congratulations everyone!

We are so proud of all of our little ones in our Chicago West Parent Empowerment Program! This past month, many of our young children graduated from the program after reaching important developmental milestones, building connections, and strengthening their bonds with their parents and Parent Educators.

Congratulations to all of our graduates for your amazing work! And thank you to the Kids Above All Early Childhood team for ensuring they had the resources they needed to reach their full potential.

Stories like Steven’s happen because of donors like you.

Right now, there are children in our community like Steven who have known too much instability and trauma in their young lives. Your gift helps us provide the stability, therapy, and opportunities they need to heal and become independent, productive adults.

Visit kidsaboveall.org/donate to give today to help a child like Steven have the support and resources they need to feel known, safe, and truly cared for.

Thank you to everyone who supported this year's Stand Up For Kids Comedy Night!

Kids Above All raised an incredible $64,229 — the most in the event’s history. We are so grateful for everyone's generosity, commitment, and belief in the young people and families we serve.

Funds from the evening will help provide critical support — like a full year of rent for five young people in Emerge — giving them the stability they need to achieve their goals and become independent adults.

We’re also grateful to the talented and hilarious comedians Ana Belaval, Kevin Bozeman, Joe Kilgallon, Katie Meiners, and The Patti Vasquez Show. Their time and energy helped create a fun and truly special evening!

We hope everyone had a great time at the event, and we can't wait to see you all again at our next show!
