When you are ready, connect with a WIC clinic for resources and support to help you during this time. You can continue receiving WIC benefits for up to six months following your loss.

During Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Awareness Month help us spread the word: babies should always sleep in their own safe sleep space, every sleep. Place babies on their backs on a firm mattress, with no pillows, blankets, or stuffed animals. Safe sleep saves lives.

This month raises awareness of domestic violence and the resources available to support survivors and their families.

IDHS supports free and confidential services that help people experiencing domestic violence access emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, case management, and other assistance.
