📣 Calling all researchers and advocates! Join Research!America for a webinar on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 1:30 p.m. ET. Instead of our usual discussion, we're doing something different: an interactive advocacy training and phonebank focused on contacting members of Congress about the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) proposed rule, "Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance." This rule could upend how federal research gets funded, from grant terminations to political interference in merit review.

Whether you're new to advocacy, looking to sharpen your skills, or just want some dedicated time to do outreach with others, this session is for you. We will be joined by Erin Darbouze, MPH, who will share practical tips and tricks for effective in-district advocacy, with plenty of time for your questions. Then we'll wrap up with a group phonebank. ☎️ This is your chance to make your voice heard alongside fellow researchers and advocates.
