Rural pastors in Ghana received 50 Africa Study Bibles through our partnership with a local ministry, Yeshua Passion Commission. Many of the pastors said it was their first exposure to this resource. That’s the kind of practical, multiplying impact your giving makes possible.

The distribution was followed by a two‑hour training session on the effective use of the Africa Study Bible. Pastors expressed sincere appreciation for the resource that will significantly strengthen their preaching and teaching within their local congregations. : Does Oasis translate Bibles into local African languages?

No. Oasis publishes Bibles in English and French with plans to begin printing in Portuguese in the future.

According to Wycliffe statistics, the Bible has already been translated for the reading language of as many as 90% of Africans. While we should not rest until this number has reached 100%, there needs to be balance in our approach to how we resource Bible ministry.

Nearly every child below the Sahara Desert learns to read English, French or Portuguese in school. This means that most readers in Africa are literate in English, French, or Portuguese – they oftentimes prefer reading in one of these languages over their mother tongue.

Africa faces a significant discipleship crisis despite the explosive growth of its churches. Discipleship, more than just conversion, involves nurturing believers to live fully committed lives following Jesus. This blog highlights the importance of disciple-making in transforming individuals and communities. Let's prioritize not just evangelism but also the journey of growing as true followers of Christ.

"Go and make disciples of all nations." —Matthew 28:19✝️

Every year, The Navigators Nigeria walks alongside men and women taking their first steps in following Christ. These new disciples are eager to grow in their faith, but many lack access to a Bible they can study, share, and apply in their daily lives.

To help meet this need, we have partnered with them to provide 500 New Living Translation Text Bibles (Africa Edition) for new disciples in the ministry's discipleship program. See more details here:https://godswordforafrica.com/project/provide-bibles-for-young-disciples/

Project Needs: $3,125 is needed to fully fund this project.

With Scripture in their hands, they will be better equipped to evangelize, establish new believers in the faith, and help disciple others, multiplying the impact of the Gospel across their communities.

A Bible is one of the few gifts that continues giving long after it is received.

A pastor uses it to prepare sermons.

A parent uses it to disciple their children.

A student uses it to grow in faith.

A church leader uses it to equip others.

Years from now, the impact of that Bible may still be unfolding in ways we cannot measure.

This is why Bible distribution matters. The ripple effect that follows is what makes it transformational.

Every Oasis Bible placed in the right hands becomes a tool for discipleship, evangelism, and spiritual growth. Thank you to everyone helping place God's Word where it is needed most.

How can hope and restoration flow for a person without freedom?

A prison sentence does not place someone beyond the reach of God's grace.

Through evangelism, Bible studies and discipleship programs, Qua Iboe Ministry is helping inmates discover the life-changing message of Christ. Unfortunately, most of them do not have access to biblical resources needed for spiritual growth.

We aim to raise $1,150 which will provide 200 NLT Africa Edition Bibles to inmates participating in Bible classes and discipleship programs.

👉Your generosity will help them discover lasting hope behind prison walls. Gift at this link today: https://godswordforafrica.com/project/give-bibles-to-new-believers-behind-bars-in-akwa-ibom-state-nigeria/
