Calling All Parents! YOUR VOICE Matters!

We invite you to join us in collaboration with Family Focus for an important VIRTUAL Listening Session on Thursday, September 26th to share your experiences and priorities as Illinois transitions to the new Department of Early Childhood. This is your chance to have a say in shaping the future of early childhood education and care in our state!

What to Expect During the virtual session:

✅ Learn about the early childhood system in Illinois and why a new department is needed.
✅ Get updates on the transition process to the new Department of Early Childhood.
✅ Share your experiences and insights to help shape the new agency.
✅ Connect with other parents, educators, providers, and community members to discuss priorities for the new department.

✅ Date: Thursday- September 26th
Session #1 11-12:30 pm
Session #2 6:30-8 pm
✅ Format: Virtual Listening Session
