SAJE - Student Alliance for Jewish Enrichment Bringing student-driven Jewish programming to the University of Chicago

The Student Alliance for Jewish Enrichment (SAJE) was founded in 2010 to strengthen UChicago's Jewish community by tapping into our rich collective heritage. To that end, we organize student-requested Jewish cultural and educational programming in Hyde Park. Last year, we were one of the most active religious RSOs on campus, and we hope to accomplish even more this coming year. Regular programming

includes:

- Rotaing scholars in residence
- Academic lecture series
- Scholar-in-residence weekends
- Text studies
- Dinners and parties around the Jewish holidays
- Making Chicago Center for Jewish Studies events more accessible to undergraduates

All of our events are requested, implemented, and enjoyed by students just like you! If you'd like to find out more about our upcoming programming, or how you can help out, please contact us.

SAJE, UChicago's Jewish learning organization, is embarrassed and angered by the emails posted yesterday on Buzzfeed, both as members of the UChicago community and as Jews. Our tradition teaches us to care about other people, especially those in marginalized groups, and we know our community can learn from these texts to do better.
