Through Qurʾānic verses, Prophetic teachings, classical scholarship, and practical discussions, participants will explore the definition, purpose, virtues, sources, and major disciplines of Qurʾānic studies.
Topics include tafsīr (Qurʾānic exegesis), asbāb al-nuzūl (occasions of revelation), Makkan and Madinan revelation, muḥkam and mutashābih verses, and al-nāsikh wa-al-mansūkh (abrogation). By the end of the session, students will have a deeper appreciation of the sciences of the Qurʾān and a strong foundation for further study and meaningful engagement with the Book of Allah.
