RESOURCE DAY in REVERE
CAPIC was happy to participate in Revere’s Garfield Middle School “Resource Day” last week. The purpose of the event was to unite students, families, and staff in celebrating diverse cultural backgrounds. Over 100 children & families were at the fair and received information on resources and services that are being provided by local organizations, such as CAPIC. Community Action Month Program Highlight – CAPIC Head Start
Head Start is more than preschool—it is a launchpad. Since 1965, the program has helped over 40 million children nation-wide, build better language, literacy, and social skills while empowering families to thrive.
Here at CAPIC, children are learning about the weather. A classroom at CAPIC’s Revere Irene O’Connell Center location turned their dramatic play into a news station so the children could share a weather report. Thank you to our amazing staff for always being so creative!
