CAPIC’s Summer Camp Program hosted a back-to-school event for campers and their families. Everyone received school supplies for the new school year and ended the day with ice cream!

While HEAP (formerly known as LIHEAP) does NOT provide free roof replacements and is not exclusively for seniors, HEAP does help eligible households across Massachusetts pay for a portion of their winter heating bills, starting in November and running through April.

CULTURAL DAY at CAPIC’s SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
On August 6th, CAPIC’s Summer Camp hosted a Cultural Day event to celebrate global diversity and local heritage. Campers had a great time learning about other cultures and traditions. Campers also put on performances during the event. Parents and families joined in on the fun and everyone had a great time. A big thank you to our Summer Camp staff for coordinating this amazing event.

The 2026-2027 heating season is almost upon us!

The online portal for returning applicants opens October 1st 2026, and re-certification paper applications will be mailed to returning applicants by November 1st 2026.
Returning applicants will need their CAPIC application number and pin to submit through the online portal.
Be sure to check out the updated 2026-2027 heating season income guidelines to see if you qualify. Please call 617-884-6130 (press “1” to reach the Fuel Assistance/HEAP Department) with any additional questions about the income guidelines, and/or if you need assistance with your application number and pin.
