Thanks for coming out to support our very first Power to Grow Pop-up farm stand at Azalea Park! We met so many neighbors who learned about New Roots Farm for the very first time! We hope you will wander in and visit us this fall, and we look forward to future farm stands- whether in the park or other local spots in the months and years to come. Thank you to our friends at Cultivate Charlottesville and Piedmont Master Gardeners for bringing activities and resources to share with all.

Thank you teams from UVA Medical Labs, Public Health Pathways, School of Architecture, Charlottesville Area Tree Stewards AND the Piedmont Master Gardeners for their incredible work yesterday during United Way's 2026 Day of Caring! They cut kudzu and helped to clear up the streambank at New Roots Farm for our upcoming tree planting project.

Throw back to 2024 when we partnered with the UVA School of Architecture to explore design ideas to improve New Roots Farm. With the beginning of the fall semester, we are excited to once again partner with the A School to explore new ways to help the farm continue to be a welcoming space for all: whether you are a member, neighbor, or simply passersby. Can't wait to see what we dream and build together!
