A few food vendors and artists had to pull out but we still have an amazing show with wonderful musicians AFRO ASIA , Prabir , Orion Redwolf , dancers Charlottesville Ballet Young Asian + American Pre-Professional Ballet, Laughing Dragon Kung Fu , artists Trinkets with JP, Little Plum Studio , community groups Renaissance School, Jefferson-Madison Regional Library, Charlottesville Tomorrow, YAAPI CVILLE, Make Us Visible VA, will be set up, delicious eats from Tealicious Cafe VA, The Pie Guy, Little Manila Food Truck , plus NEW T-shirts, tote bags, a limited number of cozy hoodies, and Youth sizes as well.

Very honored to have been part of the Commonwealth Coffee Honoring Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander Heritage Month at the Russell Senate Office Bldg in Washington, D.C. this morning.

Senator Mark Warner and U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, Congressman Bobby Scott and Congressman Suhas Subramanyam, all spoke and also Lieutenant Governor Ghazala Hashmi was a very special guest, celebrating her historic election as the first Asian American to hold statewide office in Virginia.

This gathering welcomed faith leaders, government officials, community organizers, civic engagement groups, and community service organizations an opportunity to connect with the Senators and their staff.

Truly grateful to have been invited and represented VeryAsian VA, Asian + American, Charlottesville, VA, today!
