A NOTE FROM JON and Carol:
With a heavy but hopeful heart, I write to let you know that, due to family concerns, I will be stepping away from community ministry for a season. Effective January 1, 2026, through May 1, 2026, the Community Prayer Room will be closed while we focus on caring for my wife, Carol, and our family.
On October 21, Carol was diagnosed with cancer in the bone (tibia) of her right knee. At this time, doctors believe the cancer is limited in it's spread and may be a very treatable type. We will know more about a suggested treatment plan after we receive the results of her bone biopsy next week.
We are trusting in the Lord and have promises for her complete healing. In the meantime, my dear wife; my tireless ministry partner cannot stand, walk without crutches and she is unable to drive. In addition to this, the doctors have also told her to keep her right leg elevated as much as possible. This means that, until she is healed, that she is unable to do much at all. For now, my partner is in need of my help.
Your friendship, love and prayers mean the world to us. We deeply covet your continued prayers for Carol—healing, strength, peace, and wisdom for the medical team. We have our moments, but overall we are resting in the promises of complete healing and we are experiencing a peace that only God can give. We will keep you updated as we are able. We have faith that we will get through this.
Thank you for your understanding and for holding us close in prayer during this time. We look forward to gathering once again in May 2026!
With gratitude and love in Jesus,
Jon & Carol Quesenberry
