Our friends, family, and colleagues in healthcare should never be forced to choose between their job and their health. This Mental Health Awareness Month, more than 3.35 million health workers now practice with the reassurance that seeking care won't risk the careers they've dedicated their lives to.

We're incredibly proud to recognize our Wellbeing First Champions—the 74 licensure boards and 3,392 hospitals and care facilities that are making this change possible. By verifying that their licensing and credentialing applications do not include intrusive, stigmatizing questions, they are helping shift the culture of healthcare from the inside out.

Together, we're building a world where seeking mental health care is recognized as a sign of strength, not a professional risk.

Today, we stood alongside hundreds of health workers at the Healthcare is Human rally in DC, hosted by our amazing partner !

It was an inspiring morning filled with powerful stories from clinicians, members of Congress, and alongside his mom, Marty, a nurse of nearly 50 years. Together, we brought our message straight to Capitol Hill: Health workers are human too, and they deserve the same level of support and care that they offer their patients every day. ❤️

We want to say a huge thank you to FIGS for hosting today’s rally. They have been an unwavering supporter of the Lorna Breen Act, always championing the of the healthcare workforce.

Want to help? The Lorna Breen Act has been reauthorized, but the work continues to ensure Congress fully funds these programs. Head to the link in our bio to urge your representatives to fully fund Lorna Breen Act programs today!

Health workers are there for our first breaths, our hardest recoveries, and everything in between. They commit their lives to caring for ours—often at the cost of their own wellbeing. 🤍

This Mental Health Awareness Month, you can return that care. When you donate, you make a personal commitment to protect the of the people who protect us all. And now, thanks to our partner, the Covista Foundation, your support will go twice as far. The Covista Foundation will generously match every donation made to the Foundation dollar-for-dollar up to $15,000 so that we can care for our caregivers!

We’ve helped clear the path to mental health care access for 3 million health workers, but we won’t stop until we reach all 22 million in the U.S.

Double your impact today for our caregivers: https://bit.ly/LornaBreenGiving

Tonight marks the season finale of ! While the season is coming to a close, the realities of what health workers experience day after day continue—and so does the collective effort to improve the systems meant to support them.

The challenges we see on screen are a call to action. It’s about more than “getting through a shift”—it’s about moving toward a future where the system truly sustains the people who care for us all.

We’re honored to be included as a partner resource on The Pitt’s website. Whether you are on the front lines or leading a team, there are solutions and resources available to help build a system that protects and supports all health workers.

What an incredible day at the 3rd Annual Healthcare Leadership Collaborative! Today was a powerful reminder of what happens when we come together with a shared mission: caring for the people who care for us.

We’re still buzzing from the energy in the room (and in our virtual community!) as we worked to “Bridge the Implementation Gap” for health workforce wellbeing. It wasn’t just about identifying the problems—it was about sharing learnings and building a roadmap for systemic, sustainable change.

A massive thank you to:

🎤 Our amazing speakers for sharing their expertise and lived experiences.
🌟 Our generous sponsors who made this event possible:

The movement to protect the people who care for us is reaching more clinicians every day. We’re thrilled to share that it’s now safer for more than 3 million U.S. health workers to access care without fear of professional repercussions!

Congratulations to the 70 state licensure boards and 2,115 hospitals and care facilities, plus our first-ever professional liability insurers, that have verified their applications no longer contain intrusive, stigmatizing mental health questions.

This momentum is incredible progress, and we won't stop until every health worker in the country has a safe path to the care they deserve. Together, we’re championing a culture of support. 🧡

HUGE news! ✍️The Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Reauthorization Act has officially been signed into law, securing the future of critical health worker programs through September 2030.

This victory sends a clear message to our health workers: you matter.

To our ALL IN: Wellbeing First for Healthcare coalition members, Congressional Champions, and every person who reached out to their representatives—thank you! You are helping those who protect our communities get the support they need to care for themselves.

While the Lorna Breen Act is now reauthorized, we need to ensure it reaches the people who need it most by advocating for federal funding. Building on the success of programs that have already supported 250,000+ health workers, the new funding will:

➡️ Expand grant programs for hospitals, health systems, health professions schools, and community organizations to improve the systems in which health workers are educated, trained, and practice.
➡️ Continue the national Impact Wellbeing™ initiative to guide and equip hospitals, clinics, and other care facilities in building a thriving, sustainable workforce.

Join us in asking Congress to fund these life-saving programs today! 📢 https://bit.ly/FundLBA

The Pitt Season 2 premieres today! 🏥✨ But first, we need to talk about this one critical moment from the Season 1 finale.

Dr. Langdon voices a fear shared by so many in healthcare—that seeking treatment will lead to denied hospital privileges, loss of license to practice, and the end of a career. Dr. Robby’s response was immediate: “No, that’s not true anymore.”

He’s right. In Pennsylvania and at “The Pitt” (modeled after Allegheny General Hospital), it is safe for health workers to seek mental health care and not fear professional repercussions. And we’re making it a reality across the country!

Through the Wellbeing First Champion Challenge program, we’re working together to remove stigmatizing, intrusive mental health questions from licensing and credentialing applications. Progress is happening, but we won’t stop until ALL health workers feel safe seeking the mental health care and substance use disorder treatment they may need.

We are looking forward to seeing how Season 2 of spotlights this journey—from seeking treatment without fear of professional repercussions to ensuring a safe, supportive re-entry back into the workforce. 🩺
