The Rocket Community Challenge is an online fundraising campaign that brings nonprofits and their supporters together to create meaningful change in their communities. This year, Samaritan’s Feet is rallying support for One City Detroit, where we aim to provide new shoes, hope, and dignity to 1,500 children and families.

Twelve million pairs of shoes. Twelve million moments of hope.

Today, we celebrate a milestone that once began as a simple dream in 2003. What started with one pair of shoes has grown into a movement that has now surpassed 12 million shoes distributed around the world.

During our recent trip to Malawi, our Founder and CEO, Manny Ohonme had the privilege of serving Martin Kade, a 10-year-old student receiving his very first pair of shoes. Years ago, Manny also received his first pair of shoes as a child, an experience that helped inspire the mission of Samaritan's Feet. Seeing that story come full circle is a reminder of why we continue to serve.

This milestone belongs to every volunteer, donor, partner, and supporter who has walked alongside us. Thank you for making moments like this possible.
