Veterans Bridge Home

Veterans Bridge Home Your bridge from service to stability. Stronger together. Stronger at home. In some cases, they also recover from wounds and also pursue further education.

From transition to connection, employment and housing to mental health, wellness and VA benefits — we are here to support service members, veterans, and their families. Veterans Bridge Home connects Veterans and their families, in any state of transition, to the community. Through our network of partners, we help Veterans navigate employment, create social connections, and settle their families. We look at the whole Veteran and connect them to the resources needed to be successful and thriving leaders in our community. After the regimen and sacrifice of military duty, transition to civilian life can be challenging as Veterans reunite with their families, pursue a new profession, locate services which were all on base, and build a social network. Veterans Bridge Home serves as an entry point for Veterans who don't know where to turn to access support and services. Because Veterans return home to a civilian community and not to federal agencies or bureaucracies, each community must reach out and actively assist in the reintegration process alongside federal agencies such as the Veterans Administration. The Carolinas have the opportunity and privilege to help bring our nation's warriors and their families home with the same energy and commitment that our Veterans have displayed in serving our nation. In so doing, ours will serve as a leader to inform other communities that wish to create more welcoming and livable communities for returning Veterans and their families. Veterans Bridge Home (VBH) is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting the transition of military members exiting the service with a holistic approach. Please consider donating monthly or annually by visiting veteransbridgehome.org. ANY amount makes an impact on a Veterans life!

We know the stereotypes types.

“Veterans yell a lot.”

“They’re hard to work with.”

“They don’t understand civilian jobs.”

And we’re telling you that that’s not the case. Veterans are strong leaders and hard workers who can adapt to just about any situation. That’s something that gets missed, even though it shouldn’t.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs released the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Su***de Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP) awardees for FY2027 today.

We're one of them.

Why does this matter? Through the SSG Fox SPGP we've established the VBH Care Navigation Program, which pairs at-risk veterans and their families with a dedicated care navigator for six months of one-on-one support, connecting them to mental health care and the resources they need to stay safe and stable.

If you are a service member, veteran, or veteran family member in need of support, submit a request assistance form on our website: https://ow.ly/xLMz50ZSSof

If you are in crisis and need immediate assistance, dial 988+1.
