Writing workshop alert! This looks amazing!

Back by popular demand! Act of Love is a writing workshop fostering creativity through love, forgiveness, and self-care. It is designed to gently remove judgment, fear, and shame from the creative process, making way for expression of your true creative self.

This is a continuation of the Act of Love writing workshop first held in July. Act of Love Part 2 is open to those who attended the first workshop as well as newcomers.

In just 27 days, Charlotte Writers Club kicks off its 104th season, by welcoming acclaimed author, Meagan Church, as our September speaker.

In her presentation, "The Craft of Writing with Empathy," Meagan will explore how empathy can transform characters from flat and forgettable into people readers can't stop thinking about. Drawing on real-life inspiration, immersive storytelling, and the hidden experiences that shape every character, she will share practical techniques for creating emotional depth and stronger connections with readers.

Definition: gnomic is a formal word that describes something cryptically said or written in few words.

Example: The painter is notorious for offering terse, gnomic responses to questions about her work that leave interviewers and critics scratching their heads.
