From resident —> GIU volunteer.💚

Last week, Tabitha returned to Anson Women’s Correctional —not as a resident, but as part of the Grace It Up volunteer team, sharing hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ with others walking a path she once walked.

Her story is a wonderful reminder that our past doesn’t define our future and that God’s grace changes lives.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

What an amazing 2 days we’ve had at Anson Women’s Correctional Facility! Thanks to everyone who participated in this God-filled time!

Today and tomorrow, more than 50 GIU volunteers will walk through the gates of Anson Women’s Correctional Institution to share hope, encouragement, and the love of Jesus Christ.
We’ll serve more than 1,400 residents and 500 staff through eight services filled with music, testimonies, fellowship, prayer, and a meal from Chick-fil-A.

Please send up a prayer for us as we do His work. Every one matters!

That’s exactly what we’re looking for. A new generation of volunteers who care about people and actually want to make a difference.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need a willing heart, a little empathy, and the guts to show up.

Maybe you’ve been through something that could help someone else find their way.
Maybe you just want your life to count for something bigger than yourself.
