We’re excited to share something special from a familiar face in the GIU community. 📖

Our brother Kyle Triplett served as a field minister at Foothills Correctional Facility and now serves at Mountain View Correctional.

He has just released his new book, Penitentiary Preacher: Sermons from Behind the Wall, written specifically for those who are incarcerated. His mission: “to reach as many incarcerated men and women with the gospel of Jesus Christ as I can.”

Congratulations, Kyle! We love seeing your ministry continuing in this new chapter.

When someone goes to prison, a family’s life can change overnight.

A child may start growing up without a parent at home.

A mother may spend years worrying about her son or daughter.

A spouse may suddenly carry the bills, the parenting and the decisions alone.

A grandparent may find themselves raising children again.

And every phone call, missed birthday, holiday and prison visit can carry emotions most of us never see.

🙏🏽 We ask you to pray beyond the prison walls.

Pray for the children.
Pray for the parents.
Pray for the spouses and partners.
Pray for the grandparents and caregivers.
Pray for families trying to stay connected across years and miles.

And pray for the families preparing to welcome someone home. 💚

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

Getting out is only the beginning. Without a safe, stable place to call home, even the most basic next steps—finding a job, reconnecting with family, getting health care, simply figuring out what comes next—can become that much harder.

At Grace It Up, we believe people deserve the support and resources they need to build a life beyond incarceration.
