I'm honored to share I've been named to Who's Who In Black Charlotte 2026 by Real Times Media.

To be recognized alongside so many leaders who make Charlotte stronger is humbling. But for me, this honor comes with a responsibility.

I founded The McNair Foundation Inc. with one simple belief: when we invest in HBCU students, we invest in our collective future.

So I'm turning this recognition into action. Over the next 90 days, we are working to expand our scholarship fund to support more students heading to HBCUs this fall.

The McNair Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce LaTaia Williams as our newest McNair Scholar!

LaTaia is a graduate of Scotland High School and will attend North Carolina A&T State University this fall, where she will major in Kinesiology.

Her goal is to earn her doctorate and become an Orthopedic Surgeon, dedicating her life to helping others through medicine.

Congratulations, LaTaia! Your hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence have brought you to this exciting milestone. We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to watching you achieve your dreams.

The McNair Foundation Incorporated Proudly Introduces Its Newest McNair Scholar

The McNair Foundation Incorporated is pleased to announce Ms. Tatum Alston as its newest McNair Scholar.

Ms. Alston is a proud graduate of Independence High School and has demonstrated the dedication, academic excellence, and determination that exemplify the values of the McNair Foundation.

This fall, she will attend Howard University, where she plans to major in Human Performance as she pursues her goal of becoming a Sports Medicine Physician.

We are excited to support Tatum as she embarks on this next chapter of her educational journey. Her commitment to academic achievement and service inspires us all, and we look forward to witnessing the positive impact she will make in the field of sports medicine and beyond.
