HealthNet is committed to providing quality, critical care transport to our patients.

HealthNet Aeromedical Services is headquartered in Charleston, West Virginia, and is a not-for-profit critical care transport system cooperatively owned and operated by Cabell Huntington Hospital, Charleston Area Medical Center, and WVU Medicine. The organization operates eight helicopter bases in West Virginia and one in Kentucky and has safely transported over 90,000 patients since beginning operations in 1986.

📱Registration Open for fall CCT Courses! 💻

We're excited to host TWO new Critical Care Transport courses this fall in Wheeling and Morgantown!

The cost is $525 per student, and classes meet weekly for 12 weeks. Three years' experience as a paramedic or ED/ICU RN is required.

These classes will fill up quickly, so sign up now for the course in your area!

On August 16, 2026 a small airplane crashed in a remote area of Jackson County, WV. Local responders asked that the Base 2 team initiate an airborne search and they quickly located the aircraft. Subsequently they partnered for on-scene care, extrication and transport of the pilot.

Above all, helicopters save lives.
