Here's what KRTplus offers:

• Affordable fares– Get anywhere in your service zone for just $1.50
• Free transfers– Connect to a fixed-route bus at no extra cost when you use the Transit app or a KRT Blue Card (within 60 minutes)
• Airport rides– Travel to or from West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW) for $12

Westside Together recently had the pleasure of visiting the WVSU Economic Development Center - EDC on Charleston’s West Side, and we left inspired by the resources, creativity, and opportunities available to our community. Their new Director, Shante Ellis, hosted us and shared fresh ideas and a vision for how the center can support creators, entrepreneurs, organizations, and community members. ✨

A few highlights from our EDC visit:

• Flexible workspace options including office memberships, private offices, and shared work areas
• Meeting and training rooms available for workshops, board meetings, and community events
• Digital arts wing featuring a full video and photo capture studio, a soundproof voice recording studio, and an editing suite
• Equipment rentals including cameras, lighting kits, tripods, microphones, and more
• Youth and community programming including a recent podcast camp and the new mobile podcast curriculum for middle and high schools
• Rotating art displays throughout the building showcasing local artists
• Free back‑to‑school photography sessions coming soon in collaboration with Capital Media LLC 📸
• New online inventory system designed to make renting production equipment simple and accessible
