Kaleidoscope Collective

Hi, y'all. I wanted to remind anyone interested in our happenings to check the event section on our page. Meetings are typically on the 2nd and 4th Friday each month, however the coming months are different due to holidays.
Kaleidoscope Collective has a Halloween Movie Night and potluck featuring Halloween Town this Friday, October 9 at 7pm.
Following that, we'll be skipping Friday, October 23 due to a Samhain group campout event that Spiral Moon Grove will hosting at KSF. Some of our members will be attending that.
Our next meeting will be on November 13th for Friendsgiving Movie Night.
We will need to discuss whether we plan to have a meeting on November 27, or skip it, due to that being Black Friday.
We will be meeting on December 11, then likely skipping December 25th.

We also have something BIG being planned for next year. We'll share more on that with later. Hint: art lovers and LGBTQIA2S+ artists, keep an eye out.

Sorry for the delay! Here is the "Sacred Qu**rs" service for anyone who missed it or want to see it again!

To clarify a point in the introduction: "We are not a part of the UUC" was mispoken. Kaleidoscope Collective is an affiliate and part of Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charleston, WV; however, membership to the congregation is not required to attend Kaleidoscope Collective meetings and events, or to be a member of our group. ;)

We'll be doing a "sermon" for Pride tomorrow (June 7) at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charleston, WV! 11am. "Sacred Qu**rs", where I will be talking about gay, bisexual, trans, and nonbinary deities; and the LGBTQIA2S+ people who often served them and their communities in sacred roles.

If you can't make it, the service should be livestreamed on Zoom and posted to Youtube sometime after.

Show up. Speak up. Listen. Learn. Protect people when it matters. Love people loudly.

Looking for some good news at the start of Pride?

We've helped 21 communities across West Virginia adopt local fairness laws that ban discrimination in employment, housing, and public spaces. That's 21 communities who have stood up to say everyone deserves to be treated fairly.

On top of that, we've helped four communities ban the dangerous and discredited practice of conversion therapy!

Let's send some love to these communities! 💛💙
